Generation FINN offers a unique opportunity for middle and high school students to earn college credits at no cost while gaining hands-on experience in AI and developing essential academic and professional skills.
Generation FINN is a 6-week in-person Dual Enrollment summer program at Miami Dade College, available at no cost. Students select two college-level courses and participate in afternoon Experiential AI Learning Activities and an Experiential AI Learning Project. This program aims to immerse students in interactive learning and college-level coursework through engaging, hands-on activities and real-world applications. Participants will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, strengthen communication and collaboration, and explore diverse academic and career pathways, ultimately earning credits toward their Associate of Arts degrees. The program also includes opportunities for field trips and provides lunch daily.
A typical day involves students attending two college-level courses in the morning, followed by afternoon Experiential AI Learning Activities and working on an Experiential AI Learning Project. Lunch is provided daily.
