The University of Miami Summer Scholars Program in Applications of Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil and Architectural Engineering offers high school students a rigorous, credit-bearing introduction to various engineering disciplines. The curriculum includes two courses, MAE 100 (Introduction to Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) and CAE 100 (Introduction to Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering), totaling 6 college credits. Students explore topics such as mechanical design and manufacturing, materials science, renewable energy technology, aerospace engineering (including airplanes and rockets), structural engineering, and environmental engineering. What a typical day looks like

Classes are held daily, Monday through Friday, with a morning session from 8:10 AM to 11:40 AM and an afternoon session from 1:10 PM to 4:40 PM.
